Don't scrap that damaged item that nothing else can fix! J-B WELD is an incredibly versatile product that can repair everything from damaged welds and solders to a precious heirloom. Save money, save time, and save your sanity for drastically less money than other forms of permanent repair.
J-B Weld is The Original Cold Weld two-part epoxy system that provides strong, lasting repairs to metal and multiple surfaces. Mixed at a ratio of 1:1, it forms a permanent bond and can be shaped, tapped, filed, sanded and drilled after curing. At room temperature, J-B Weld sets in 20-25 minutes to a dark grey color. A full cure is reached in 15-24 hours. J-B Weld has a tensile strength of 3960 PSI and sets to a hard bond overnight. It can withstand temperatures up to 550ºF when fully cured.

Packaged as two 28 gram tubes.

I have an old marine Volvo diesel TAMD70D with a cracked exhaust manifold. The part is no longer made and if you can get one second hand, you are looking at over $5,000 to purchase and install it. I could not find one anywhere in the world. I came across JB Weld on a vintage tractor website where guys were repairing irreplaceable engine blocks with JB Weld and claiming a permanent repair. I had little to lose, so for $14.50 I bought a pack and then spent 4 hours cleaning grinding and prepping the surface. Another hour applying the slow curing weld (It was underneath and kept sagging - but I wanted the slow cure rather than the putty of fast cure because of its superior tensile strength) I have since done 5 hours of motoring with no signs of failure yet. Very happy and will always keep some product on the boat putty, slow and fast cure and of course the Marine.
